NYU Langone Health Dental Medicine would like to welcome a new member to our team, Adrienne Scott, Grants Specialist!
Please join us in welcoming Adrienne Scott, MS, Grants Specialist. Ms. Scott joins the Department of Dental Medicine at Family Health Centers at NYU Langone in the newly created position of Grants Specialist. In this role, she will provide grant and project management support to Margaret K. Mason, DMD, MA, Vice President and Senior Administrator of Dental Medicine. Ms. Scott will also contribute to existing and planned externally funded projects led by the Department of Dental Medicine faculty and staff and meaningfully enhance the financial management of and requisite report submissions to funding agencies and foundations. She has over 6 years of experience in grant and project management positions at the Legal Aid Society and Center for Alternative Sentencing and Employment Services, both of which are broadly relevant to our patient population and efforts to address the social determinants of health. Ms. Scott will work closely with the leadership of NYU Langone Dental Medicine and collaborate directly with Eliot George, MBA, Director of Business Operations for the Department of Dental Medicine and Mary E. Northridge, PhD, MPH, Director of Dental Research, in leveling up our pre- and post-award activities and expanding our efforts to promote oral health equity and improve patient satisfaction.
