The Heart of HealthCare in the Heart of Texas. Heart of Texas Community Health Center, known locally as Family Health Center, has been delivering medical, dental and behavioral services to the underserved citizens living in McLennan County, Texas since 1970. The Heart of Texas Community Health Center Dental Department combines quality staff, facilities, and technology in order to provide optimal oral health care to the underserved population of McLennan County, and to provide outreach and support to community organizations. Comprehensive adult and pediatric dental services are provided in three locations in Waco and one location in McGregor.
Residents will gain experience in all phases of general dentistry including: fixed and removable prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, placing and restoring implants, pediatric dentistry, endodontics and restorative dentistry.
