Iowa

Iowa is known for its landscape of rolling plains and cornfields. It is bordered by the Mississippi River to the east and the Missouri River and Big Sioux River to the west. Iowa is the 26th most extensive in total area and the 31st most populous of US States. It has been listed as one of the safest US states to live in. Dubuque is Iowa's oldest city and among the oldest settlements west of the Mississippi River. The city lies at the junction of Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin, a region locally known as the Tri-State Area. It serves as the main commercial, industrial, educational, and cultural center for the area. Living in Dubuque offers residents a dense suburban feel. The University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics is the closest dental school in Iowa City, Iowa.
