Colorado - Salud Family Health - AEGD

Come enjoy the Denver Area and the Rocky Mountains in beautiful Colorado! Salud Family Health (Salud) is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center that operates 13 clinics and provides comprehensive dental service to over 30,000 of its underserved, uninsured and most vulnerable low-income residents in northern Colorado. A sliding fee scale is available to underserved patients that makes dental treatment affordable. Salud Family Health trains 6 residents through its NYU Langone Dental Medicine AEGD program at three clinics close to Denver. Salud’s Brighton, Commerce City, and Longmont clinics each train 2 AEGD residents. Residents will gain experience in all phases of general dentistry and utilize modern dental technology such as CBCT imaging, digital scanners, lasers, and an endo microscope. They will receive mentorship from experienced faculty and work with highly trained dental assistants while caring for a diverse patient population. Salud coordinates with medical and behavioral health to treat patients in an integrated healthcare model whose mission is to provide a quality, integrated health care home to the patients they serve. Salud has a large focus on preventive dentistry where we operate multiple school-based sites.
