Build healthy communities. The Holyoke Health Center provides comprehensive medical and dental services, behavioral health, pharmacy, and community programs. The culture of this center reflects a “Patient Centered Medical Home” system of healthcare delivery where providers work as a team to provide the best and unique care for each individual patient. The Dental Department is in a state-of-the-art dental facility utilizing the latest technologies in patient care and treatment. Residents will provide pediatric dental services including cleanings, fluoride, sealants, extractions, fillings, pulp therapy, patient education, oral surgery, care for patients with special health care needs, pediatric crowns, nitrous oxide, oral sedation for pediatrics, and orthodontics. Residents work in the clinics alongside pediatric dental providers who are on staff at Baystate Medical Center and Holyoke Medical Center for outpatient surgical procedures and work with oral surgeons and a full-time on-site orthodontist to provide comprehensive care to our patients. Residents also participate with the craniofacial team at Shriners Children's New England. The state of the art Pediatric Dental Department includes digital radiography and digital impressions. The Pediatric Dental Department is the largest in the area and performs outreach to schools to ensure all children have access to affordable quality oral health care.
