What is the mission of your training site?
Refuah Health Center was founded on the belief that everyone should experience the highest quality care. Our Members have access to renowned physicians and state-of-the-art technologies, regardless of income.
Refuah is a community cornerstone providing culturally competent, high-quality individualized treatment for all patients. The Center serves over 60,000 patients across four locations. With over 400 providers and employees and 100+ hours in patient care each week, Refuah offers comprehensive medical, dental, behavioral health, and a variety of specialty medical services. Even after unprecedented growth, Refuah remains committed to its mission and to each patient on the individual level, adding services to meet area need.
What types of dental services can I expect to perform?
RefuahHealth began offering general dentistry when it opened in 1993. Today, we offer a full range of comprehensive dental services including routine, as well as urgent care, at our three service sites in Rockland County.
Residents can expect to perform restorative care, root canals, oral surgery, periodontal surgery, and place crowns, bridges, and dentures.
What types of technologies can I expect to use?
RefuahHealth routinely invests in state-of-the-art equipment to improve patient experience and quality of care. Residents will have access to:

- Nitrous Oxide
- Endodontic microscopes
- Digital image storage system
What is the patient population?
RefuahHealth serves over 60,000 patients annually. We cater to a thriving and diversified community, with large families and provide care across the continuum to patients of all ages including children, adults and the elderly.
What is life like outside of the training site?
Only 30 minutes from Manhattan, NY, Rockland County boast world-class medical and educational centers, Fortune 500 companies, and the amenities of urban life including shopping, restaurants and scenic locations.
Will residents have the opportunity to restore and/or place implants at your training site?
Not at this time
Will residents treat children in your training site?
Yes! Over 52% of Refuah’s patient population are under the age of 18, and we have a thriving pediatric department.
