The Roseman University College of Dental Medicine is a private, non-profit institution with campuses in Henderson, Nevada and South Jordan, Utah. Our state-of-the-art AEGD facility in South Jordan features 15 operatories for 8-10 residents. Our clinic is equipped with cutting-edge technology including cone beam computed tomography, Trios and iTero scanners, a diode laser, and STA (wand) anesthetic delivery systems.

Unlike many dental clinics, Roseman CODM does not house specialty programs—making our AEGD residency the central hub for all advanced care referred from the predoctoral student clinic. Located on the first floor of the dental school, the AEGD clinic serves as the primary referral site for advanced procedures such as:

• Implant dentistry (single implants, implant bridges, immediate implants, implant supported overdentures)
• Endodontics (premolar and molar root canal therapy, retreatments, apicoectomies)
• Oral surgery (extractions of full/partial impacted third molars, vertical and lateral sinus lifts, bone grafting/ridge preservation, guided tissue regeneration)
• Fixed prosthodontics (full mouth rehabilitations & smile design, veneers, bridges, crowns)
• Removable prosthodontics (implant overdentures, root-anchor overdentures)
• Periodontics (open flap debridement, frenectomies, crown lengthening, connective tissue grafts)
• Invisalign® therapy

The only procedures typically referred out are highly complex endodontic cases (severely calcified canals, severely dilacerated teeth, or challenging anatomical variations) and implant prosthetic cases that will likely require zygomatic implants or all on X hybrid cases. 

Our goal is to prepare residents to be confident, patient-centered clinicians who can manage advanced comprehensive care and clinical operations. While we focus on making well rounded general dentists, we have had many residents who decide to go on to specialize in various fields. The number of cases and procedures completed by the residents is largely dependent on their own personal motivation and work ethic, as residents are responsible for the creation and completion of treatment plans in their own patient pool.
